Open it with us.
Seven bays, a full kitchen, thirty TVs and a bar, opening in downtown Barberton on December 14. Hiring closes November 20 and training is paid.
A few minutes. No cover letter, no account to make.
Five ways onto the floor.
What each job actually is, in plain words. Rate, hours and start date come in writing before you work a shift — we will talk about all three when we call.
Bartender
Two assignments inside one job: the protected service bar that feeds the servers, and the twelve bar seats. Thirty TVs behind you and the game is always on.
Server
Three peak sections — bar and darts, golf, race. Food and drinks go to the bay, so you are moving, and the party at the bay is yours from hello to goodbye.
Cook
One core cook, a second through the peak. A real kitchen with real tickets, not a warming drawer. You own the back-of-house close.
Peak Host
First face in the door. Check people in, assign bays, run the queue and the waivers, and show a table of six how a Full Swing bay works without making them feel slow.
Food Runner / Bar Support
Run food, bus and reset bays, keep ice and glassware ahead of the rush, back up the servers and the bar. The job that makes everybody else look fast.
Five steps. No black hole.

We answer
Melissa reads every one.
Come see it
A short interview on site. You will see the bays and the kitchen before you decide.
Offer in writing
Rate, hours and start date on paper, then payroll and paperwork.
Paid training
Monday, December 7 to Friday, December 11, on site with the whole team, then the soft-open nights.
Tell us who you are.
No cover letter, no account to make. If you have done this work before, say where. If you have not, say that instead — we train.
Nearly there.
We just opened an email with your answers in it. Press send and Melissa has it. If nothing opened, email melissa@caddiecorner.pub.
Right now the button opens an email with your answers already in it, so nothing gets lost on the way.
Rather do it the old way? Email melissa@caddiecorner.pub, or walk into The Corner and ask for Melissa.
Before you ask.
Do I need experience?
No. We would rather have somebody who shows up, reads a table and can be taught than somebody with five years of bad habits. Say what you have done and we will take it from there.
How old do I have to be?
It depends on the job. Ohio sets minimum ages for serving and handling alcohol and for some kitchen equipment, and the exact rule follows the duties and our permit. Apply anyway. If one job is off the table for now, there is usually another one that is not.
How many hours?
Most floor jobs are part time, built around our hours: Monday to Thursday 4 to 10, Friday 4 to midnight, Saturday 11 to midnight, Sunday 11 to 9. The Assistant Manager, Kitchen Manager and Events Lead are full time. Tell us what you can work and we will build the schedule around the people we hire.
Is the training really paid?
Yes, every hour of it, on a separate training code at no less than the full minimum wage or your own rate, whichever is higher. Cleaning time is paid too. We do not send people home before the work is done and call it a favour.
What are tips like?
We cannot promise you a number and we are not going to invent one for a room that has not opened. What we can tell you is the shape of it: seven bays booked by the hour, parties and leagues on the calendar, a full kitchen, and food and drink going to the bay all night.
When would I start?
Hiring closes Friday, November 20. On-site training runs Monday December 7 to Friday December 11, the soft-open nights are December 11 to 13, and the doors open Monday, December 14. The earlier you apply, the more of the schedule is still open.
I applied. When do I hear back?
Inside three days, whichever way it goes. If you have not heard by then, email Melissa and say so — something went wrong on our end, not yours.
Can I apply for more than one job?
Pick the one you want most, or choose “anything” at the top of the list. We will talk about the rest when we call.
